Story
This March, "Castle and Keele korfball clubs are competing in a challenge to see which team can do the most miles throughout March to raise money for charity.
We selected Alice Charity due to the amazing work they do, supporting vulnerable parents and children local to us in Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-Under-Lyme when they need it most.
Alice Charity began in 2011 in response to the lack of support for disadvantaged local families. 31% of children in Stoke are living in poverty and 33% of parents can’t afford to eat, missing meals in order to feed their children. Alice Charity wanted to do something to tackle this and so far have helped over 5,000 people living in poverty by providing much needed necessities including emergency food parcels, school equipment and essential baby products.
To help support Alice Charity to continue breaking the cycle of poverty for vulnerable families, please donate whatever you can!
Thank you for the support!
