Story
Hollie and myself have decided this year to do The Thames path challenge to raise money for The Brain Tumour charity.
This will be a 100km (62 mile) from Putney to Henley continuous overnight walk/ jog over 20-36 hours on the 11th/ 12th September 2021!
As some of you may know, myself and Hollie are Therapeutic Radiographers who specialise in Stereotactic Radiosurgery, treating various tumours and conditions of the brain. We see on a daily basis the impact that having a brain tumour can have on a patients physical and mental health and would therefore like to raise as much money as we can to help support them and their families.
Whilst in our care we provide patients with as much support and care as we can, however there are always limitations to our efforts and this is where amazing charities like The Brain Tumour Charity come in...….
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, were moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.
We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And were doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
We really would be so grateful for any donation...…
