Story

The Brain Tumour Charity is at the forefront of the fight to defeat brain tumours, making a difference every day to the lives of people with a brain tumours and their families. In memory of my dad Andrew Wiles Who sadly passed away in 2015 I decided that every year I would do something to help raise funds for this charity because they really are underfunded. So far I have managed to stick to this challenge that I set myself but due to Covid-19 I have been unable to do anything this year so for 2021 I have decided to do a Tandem Skydive (I must be mad) to raise awareness and as much money as possibly to help fight back against this horrid disease which myself and my family have witnessed first hand. Losing my dad 5 years ago was the hardest thing my family have ever had to go through and this disease tore through my family and within a matter of weeks I went from having my dad around to not. Time does not wait for a brain tumour.

Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40. Over 88,000 children and adults are estimated to be living with a brain tumour in the UK currently and most are coping with a reduced quality of life.Over 5,000 of whom lose this battle each year.

ask that you please donate any amount big or small as your kindness and donation really means a lot to me and to The Brain Tumour Charity and really does make a difference.
