Recently, our family received the heart wrenching news that our dad has cancer. News that shocked us all but our dad has taken in his stride like the absolute hero he is. He will be receiving treatment at the Beatson in the form of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, 5 days a week for 5 weeks in the hope to shrink the tumour. In return, Fiona, Bobbi-Jo and I, along with our families, will each complete 5K a day, 5 days a week for 5 weeks to raise money for the Beatson, as a thank you for everything they are doing for our dad.
