I am trekking Vietnam in August 2018 in memory of my beloved daughter Katy Holmes who sadly died in 2012 after a 3 month battle with a brain tumour. We have since discovered that brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40 in the UK and that research is very poorly funded.

The Katy Holmes Trust was set up in her memory and is already funding a fantastic research programme via The Brain Tumour Charity which is 18 months into a 5 year programme. Already there has been great progress and we simply must keep going until we find that cure.

Katy had a bucket list which i am taking upon myself to complete. Vietnam was on there too along with China, Africa and Ohio, all of which have been done.
