Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
As you may recall , last year as a group of 6 then , we cycled the 43 mile return route between Bamburgh to Holy Island raising (with Gift Aid) just over £2,500 to share between Arthritis UK and British Heart Foundation .
This year , Alan Armstrong , Ian Plant , Jim Halliday , Rob Tweddell and Rod Reed .... A.K.A. .. "The Last of The Summer Wine Crew" have decided to raise funds for another fantastic charity . Prostate Cancer affects so many men and our group of cyclists know only too well about this .
We have decided to "up the ante" this year and will be cycling from The Kaims , up to Chatton then South through Chillingham , Eglingham , Old Bewick , down to Alnwick . From there we head towards the coast , through Denwick , Longhoughton , Craster , Embleton , Beadnell , Seahouses , Bamburgh , looping back through Elford , Newham and back to the Kaims - 58 miles in total with climbs totalling just over 3,000 feet .

If we can just go a small way to help raise funds and make a difference then it will time well spent .
You always amaze us with your fantastic support and we started our fundraising early to help us raise as much possible and make this a year to remember .
