Tough Mudder Scotland 2015 · 20 June 2015 to 21 June 2015 ·

Over 100,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Multiple Sclerosis is a neurodegenerative progressive condition which causes a vast array of symptoms, some of which are extremely debilitating.

The cause of the condition is still relatively unknown and treatment is hard come by as there is no cure for MS. Scotland on the whole has one of the highest prevalence rates of the condition worldwide and the MS Society Scotland provide a service for those affected and their friends and families. Despite the great work that the MS Society Scotland provide, they undoubtedly require support and funding in the research that is further required to understand the condition and aid in the gain of future treatment or even a cure.

In addition to this, I have chosen to support this charity as I lost my Mum in 2011 to the disease and endeavour to support future research into the heritability, causality and treatment of the condition.

I would greatly appreciate your help in doing so.

Thanks in advance!

Leah
