The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

This is something that Lois really wants to do. She heard about it through a friend and since then has continuously talked about doing it.

She will be donating at least 12 inches in length so that her hair can be used to make a wig. The wig will be made for a child with a serious illness whilst going through chemotherapy.

Some children cope remarkably well when their hair falls out but for others it can be really upsetting. Wigs can be very expensive so this charity was set up to support the child and families at a difficult time. Any money raised will be put towards providing children with a real hair wig as quickly as possible.
