Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our team of 4 is Andy Baxter (LGC Captain) Pete Nixon, Mike Andrews and Bo Robinson.

We will be teeing off at 4.30am on Friday 17th of June 2016 at Leek Golf Club. Our team "T Naggeldy Fools" (anagram of Longest Golf Day, Mike's idea!) will embark on 14 hours of continuous golf. 72 holes in total and around 24 miles of walking.

When I first saw this great campaign advertised in a golf magazine I thought it sounded easy but as we talked the idea over it began to dawn on us that it is far from it.

Our aim is to start at first light at around 4.30-5 am and hopefully get the first two rounds in by midday. The third round will take longer as we start to tire and the course becomes busier. Our plan is start the final 18 holes around 5pm with a 9pm finish and a well earned pint or two.

Thank you to Leek Golf Club for their support.
