Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Ruby is 16, she had her first tonic clonic seizure in 2016 and soon after diagnosed with Epilepsy. Ruby’s epilepsy is complex and she was referred to Bristol Children’s hospital. Ruby is under the Children’s Epilepsy Surgery Service and has been on a long journey of investigations to see if surgery could be an option to help control her epilepsy and improve her quality of life.

Ruby has been inspirational throughout despite dealing with all the challenges that come with having epilepsy. Ruby is always positive and never fails to keep on smiling!!!

Ruby is attending hospital next week, electrodes will be placed into her brain to try and pinpoint an area that is triggering her epilepsy in aim for this to be removed if possible at a later date.

Ruby would have had to loose some hair due to surgery so took the decision to BRAVE THE SHAVE. Ruby attended Beau Hair Salon on Saturday 5/6 where the lovely Dani prepared her hair and completed the shave for her.

Ruby will be donating all of her beautiful hair to the little princess trust as she wanted another child to make very good use of this.
Ruby would also like to raise as much money as she can for EPIC, a local charity who support young people with epilepsy  in Gloucestershire.

All donations are greatly received and will help Ruby to raise as much as she can to support such an amazing charity. So please show your support and donate if you can.

Many Thanks

Ruby and her family x
