Many of you will have already read the story of my sister, our family and the Hospice and so will know why I am raising money for them. This year, the London Marathon is going virtual and the Hospice were lucky enough to be allocated charity places.

I recently found out that they had not quite managed to fill all the spots and so, eager to help and not wanting the space to go to waste, I volunteered to run the marathon for them in the hope of raising a few more pennies
