Lupus UK is the only national registered charity supporting people with lupus and helping those being diagnosed. We offer information, resources and medical talks, a free helpline, regional support groups and an online forum with over 32,000 members and a grant programme for research and welfare.

Story

I’ve decided to take the plunge and sign up for a continuous 100 mile run. It’s going to be a tough journey both mentally and physically but I know I’ll do it.

I will be starting in Richmond and running to Oxford on 2nd May 2020.

I have decided to run for Lupus. My mum and one of my closest friends both have Lupus so this is for them 💞

Lupus is a systemic autoimmune disease that occurs when your body's immune system attacks your own tissues and organs. Inflammation caused by lupus can affect many different body systems — including your joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart and lungs.
