Welcome to my fundraising page for my placement with International Service.

Along with other UK and in-country volunteers, I will be undertaking a 12 week volunteering placement which will involve working with local human rights organisations in Rwanda.

International Service are just one of the many partner organisations that run the government-backed and government-funded ICS (International Citizen Service) Scheme. 

I will be doing various activities (cake sales, xmas stalls, sponsored run, etc) and organising fundraising events in order to reach my target. Keep your eyes peeled for updates! 

Where does your money go?

It's important to stress that any money raised goes towards the projects themselves and DOES NOT go towards my flights, accommodation or any other expenses of my trip. I am raising funds in order that International Service can continue to assist local organisations working for the rights of women and people with disabilities. Your donations will ensure the continuation of the ICS scheme, continuing to send other volunteers abroad to developing communities for years to come.
