Story

I am trekking Ben Nevis in August 2018 with my 14 year old granddaughter to raise money for The Down's Syndrome Association, a British charity which describes itself as being the only organisation in the United Kingdom that focuses solely on all aspects of living successfully with Down's syndrome.

About the charity

Children and adults with Down’s syndrome are all unique individuals with their own personalities, family backgrounds and preferences that make them who they are. We aim to create the conditions that all people with Down’s syndrome need to live full and rewarding lives.
