Event: Warrington to Newcastle Magic Weekend Cycle 2018, from 17 May 2018 to 19 May 2018

Story

Following on from the traditions of 2015, 2016 & 2017, a group of like-minded pedallers will once again be cycling from the Halliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington to St James' Park in Newcastle, ready for the Magic Weekend 2018.

To celebrate the launch of the new of the new Rugby League Museum our cycle squad will make a pilgrimage to the birthplace of Rugby League, The George Hotel in Huddersfield.  The cyclists will hand over a piece of historical memorabilia from the Club to be displayed in the museum when it opens to the general public.

All funds raised from the challenge will go to The Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation, the official registered charity of the Warrington Wolves Rugby League Club.  Using the power of sport, the charity aims to engage, enthuse and inspire people to make positive lifestyle choices.
