Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats from 14 to 23 July.

I'm raising funds for First Step, a charitable organisation based in Linlithgow. First Step provides support services for individuals in West Lothian and Falkirk who are affected by and in recovery from alcohol and other substance misuse, in order to help relieve the suffering and disadvantage caused by addictions.

As well as running a community cafe and supporting a peer led weekly recovery meeting, First Step has developed a workshop which houses 1st Step Bikes, from where they offer bike refurbishment training courses so that individuals in recovery can start to learn new skills, make wider social connections and thereby work towards rebuilding their lives.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
