Story
Local musician and teenager, Tom Mouse Smith, approached us with an idea of a massive fundraising event in aid of the Children’s Heart Unit Fund (CHUF) – who raise money in support of the Children’s Heart Unit based in the Freeman’s Hospital, Newcastle.
It is a charity close to Tom’s heart, as he himself lives with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and has undergone many operations at the Children’s Heart Unit. Now a successful local musician, he wants to give back to the hospital by raising as much awareness and money as possible.
We’re thrilled to partner with Tom and we’re hoping to raise a life-changing £40,000 by auctioning off cars, LGVs and – although not in our usual listings – sports memorabilia at our charity auction on Wednesday 18 December.
We would hugely appreciate any donation - big or small, to help us achieve our ambitious target. Please watch our video to find out more about why we're raising money for CHUF.
