The brain is the most complex organ in our body. It controls our emotions, senses and actions. So when it breaks down, we break down. We fund the best research to discover the causes, develop new treatments and improve the lives of those affected. Let’s unite to accelerate progress. Today.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Earlier this year a dear family friend, Jess Wilcox, died very suddenly at just 19 years of age.

Approximately 8,500 people in the UK each year are affected by a sudden and severe condition where patients bleed on the brain surface. Subarachnoid haemorrhage mainly affects younger people in the prime of life and results in disability or death.

Brain Research UK aims to fund the best research to discover the causes, develop new treatments, and improve the lives of those affected by this and other neurological conditions.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for supporting me.
