Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

In 2022 I'm taking on 1000 miles (1600km) for GYC. This distance will be covered through my passion of running and will be helped along by 10 official running events/races starting with the Westonbirt 10km in May and finishing with the Alton Towers half marathon in November.

The full list of races is:

Thursday 12th May - Westonbirt 10km

Sunday 15th May - Tewkesbury half marathon

Sunday 29th May - Glos 10km Race 4 Life

Sunday 12th Jun - Cheltenham Running Festival half marathon

Sunday 26th Jun - Glos 10km

Saturday 2nd Jul - Maverick Adidas Terrex Original Costswolds 16km (Sudeley Castle)

Sunday 4th Sep - Run Cheltenham half marathon

Sunday 2nd Oct - Cardiff half marathon

Sunday 23rd Oct - Stroud half marathon

Sunday 13th Nov - Alton Towers half marathon

A last minute sign-up for Westonbirt house Xmas 10km on Sunday 11th December will now be my final race of the year!

Please do come along and support me where you can!

In between these events, I'll need to run ~30km a week, most of which will done with my local running club or on my own. All of this activity will also be in addition to football training and games which I already do, so time and energy will certainly need to be managed carefully!

The most I've run in a year before is 660km so this will be an enormous challenge for me but a huge reward in seeing the young carers of Gloucestershire receiving the support that they need.

Please donate all you can, little or large in aide of this wonderful charity and keep an eye on my progress which can be followed either down below or via my Strava profile:
