We will deliver and coordinate support to people with MND until a cure is found.

Story

Both Fiona and myself will be taking part in the Fire and Ice challenge taking place on the 12th October 2018.  This will involve a lot of pampers nappies and alcohol. No seriously we are going to set ourselves a challenge of walking over both glass and fire for charity.

The GLASS WALK involves walking 15-20 feet over razor sharp shards of glass.  These will be from around 2000 broken bottles (taken from Fiona's recycled bottle bin lol)  without any pain or injury. Or so they say..... Then we will later on the same evening walk we will be taking part in a FIRE WALK this involves walking over 20 feet of wood embers at 1236z Fahrenheit.  Before you ask: Yes we are sane and Yes it is voluntarily.

Having been lucky enough to be involved with MND Scotland with palliative care, I feel I would like to do something to provide funding in the effort of finding a cure.  Fiona's is more of a personal reason, having lost a dear friend, Tom Kane, late last year to this relentless disease.

Please dig deep and help Fiona and I break our target.

 Thank you from

Fiona and Maxine
