This will be my second time running the Cross after two years "maternity leave" to have our third child, a boy this time, wee Matthew. 

The Cross is an amazing event to be involved in. It is  a wonderful community of people who come together to make this fantastic event happen and raise some money for some truly deserving causes.

 Since it began in 1983 the Cross has gifted £5 million to local charities such as: Highland Hospice, Lucky2BHere for Defibrillators, Tape Service for the Blind and many more. The Highland Cross has also donated over 60 vehicles, mainly adapted minibuses to various charities including: Highland Disability Sport, SNAP (Special Needs Action Group) and many more than I can mention here.
