EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to do this jump for many reasons.... I am not getting any younger and this is one of the things on my "to do before I am too old list". I decided to make this beneficial for other people by doing this for  charity.

I chose Headway because I have been working in brain injury rehabilitation for nearly 5 years now and have been touched by the many people who's lives have been turned upside down by Aquired and Traumatic brain injuries and shocked at the effects that is has on them and the families that support them.

Brain injury rehabilitation is an important and overlooked aspect of care and so too are the effects of brain injury. Doing this jump for the benefit of others will keep me focused (I am scared of heights).
