Memory Walk 2018
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year over 110,000 people walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help to raise over £9 million to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

In 1997 my Mum aged only 66 years young was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s - I was just 28.

I got married 3 years later, by then my Mum didn’t know me - devastated just doesn’t cut it.

In their 80’s, my Dad suffered with vascular dementia, my Mother in Law and my husband's Uncle, both dementia. Now my Uncle and my sister's Mother in Law have dementia too - all these people are very dear to me.

Dementia is such a wicked cruel heart breaking illness, grieving for a loved one who is physically still here, in front of you, is a killer.
