My Biggest Dartmoor Walk EVER · 1 January 2021

Help raise £50K for a new Rescue Control Vehicle to replace our 18 year old van. Dartmoor Search & Rescue Tavistock receives no government funding and relies solely on donations. We are all volunteers, on-call 24/7 to help the lost and injured.

Story

You only start to understand how critical the search and rescue team is, when you need them or see first hand the level of dedication and commitment the team of volunteers provide. It's like a free insurance for those walking on the moor. So, to help raise the funds to build a new addition and renovate the existing building of the search and rescue centre I'm on the move again on another huge challenge.

The challenge target this time is £15,000. Planning and training is set to start all over again as I look to walk all the hills on Dartmoor. My last challenge was my biggest, this is setting up to be my toughest!

As this will be tougher than the last I am aiming to undertake this challenge in 2023. Lots to do.
