Story
In August 2022 following an operation my older sister was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
I started running in 2020 and I have since competed in 5 half marathons. I entered the last 2 London marathon ballots and received the ‘sorry not this time’ email. This time I decided to look at alternative ways to enter the London marathon.
As my sister takes on the biggest challenge of her life I’m supporting her by taking on one of my own and raising money for a charity who are helping her and many others daily.
Sadie was very brave and continued to live her life to the full until she passed away peacefully on 01.01.2023 with her family by her side. I know when I take on my challenge she will be right by my side and doing her own marathon what ever that may be!
