Story
Both of my babies were born prematurely. Mara was 10 weeks early and Torran was 7 weeks early. They spent a collective total of 10 weeks in special care.
The staff at the Neonatal Unit in RAH are absolutely out of this world. Going back for the second time during the Coronavirus pandemic was terrifying. The dedication, kindness and selflessness the staff show on a daily basis is unbelievable. Without them my babies wouldn’t be here. I will be forever grateful for the amazing care and expertise the kids received during their first few weeks.
Covid-19 has stopped us from going back to the ward to thank them so I’d love to raise some money to show them some appreciation for all that they do.
I’ll be doing 50 open water swims by the 28th February which is Torran’s first birthday. I would really love it if you could help me reach my target.
Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity is dedicated to supporting the Royal Alexandra Hospital neonatal unit in Paisley. Using funds donated by our supporters, we help the unit to buy equipment, and enable projects, that directly help the babies looked after on the unit.
