Walking a marathon

Nina Serveld is raising money for Parkinson’s UK

Walking a marathon · 14 May 2022

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Parkinson's disease is a condition that affects the brain. It causes problems like shaking and stiffness that get worse over time.
Treatments for Parkinson's disease include therapies to help with movement problems, medicines and sometimes brain surgery.
Parkinson's disease is caused by a loss of nerve cells in part of the brain. It’s not clear exactly why this happens.

So summer and I are raising money to support a charity that is close to both our hearts. We are walking a marathon in 8 HOURS which is 42.1KM (26.2miles)

I hope you can donate as much or as little as you can. Anything is appreciative.
