Emmaus provides a lasting solution to homelessness by offering formerly homeless people a home, work experience and the chance to regain self-respect in a supportive environment.

Story

Summary 

Our annual Christmas gaming event will be held online this year, and we shall be raising money for Emmaus Gloucestershire. They help out rough sleepers and homeless people in multiple ways, Including providing hot soup every Wednesday to those who need it, plus sheltering people and helping them get back on their feet to improve their lives.

Event Information

We will be streaming live at https://twitch.tv/nintendogloucestershire on Saturday 19th December, from around 3pm until 9pm, playing a variety of multiplayer games. We will also be holding a mystery raffle with over a dozen prizes up for grabs!

Some of the Nintendo Switch games we will be playing include:

  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  • Animal Crossing New Horizons
  • Pokémon Sword/Shield
  • Drawful 2
  • Jackbox Party Pack 2

Some of the prizes up for grabs include: Shaymin (Pokémon) 20th Anniversary Plush, POW Block Mug, Sushi Striker Switch Game, Zelda Multi-Tool, Mario Notebook with Backpack Buddy, and more!
