Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For some unknown reason, and after much thought and discussion, I have decided to ride the route of the first stage of Le Tour de France 2018.  I wont be doing this on my own, i will be joined by another 249 other like minded cyclists.

Why, why, why ?  I am 58 years old, will be 59 when I actually do the ride, slightly overweight and unfit but I am determined to do it and raise a lot of money in the process for a fantastic charity.

So its only 195km...only !  Its along one of the most scenic areas of France's west coast with 12 hours to complete the miles.  Not sure i will see much of the scenery, with my head down and bum up, but definitely need your support.

Having watched Le Tour de France for years on tv, and only been cycling myself for 3 years, it is a big challenge that i never thought i would have a chance to take part in, so here goes...
