From I.C.U. to 26.2

On 2nd April 2022, I was involved in a road-traffic accident whilst riding my bike, sustaining a Traumatic Brain Injury, and multiple fractures.

My chance of survival was less than 10%, however thanks to the first-class medical care delivered at the scene, I am here to tell the tale; to be a father to my boys, and a husband to my amazing wife.

After 10 days on the Intensive Care Unit ( ICU ), and 9 weeks in hospital, I continue to fight my way back to health. 

One year later, I am lining up to race the London Marathon for NWAA.

The cost of keeping NWAA in the air and saving lives is £12Million per year. This is raised SOLELY through charitable donation, as NWAA receive NO FUNDING from the Government or NHS. 

My family are committed to raising £3500, which is the cost of a single air-ambulance callout.
