Pedal Power Christmas Tree Lights For 12 Hours

Pedal Power Christmas Tree Lights For 12 Hours · 6 December 2018
Staff from the National Asbestos Helpline and Birchall Blackburn Law are pedalling electricity generating bikes to keep the lights on a Christmas tree shining for 12 hours straight.
We're doing this for Maggie's Merseyside and Maggie's Swansea Cancer Centres because they offer vital and brilliant support to people diagnosed with lung cancer. The cancer centres are able to offer help to people we talk to every day who have developed lung cancer after being exposed to asbestos dust and fibres in the past - usually through work.
All the money donated by you will be split evenly between Maggie's Merseyside and Maggie's Swansea.
The cycling starts at 7am on Thursday, December 6, and won't stop until 7pm in the evening. It all takes place outside our offices in Chester!
Maggie's Merseyside and Maggie's Swansea are extraordinary places that offer a way of living well with cancer. This includes making sure that people with cancer, as well as their family and friends, are listened to, that they are offered tailored individual support, group support and practical advice, all delivered by qualified professionals within a space that enables them to meet other people who understand what it means to be living with cancer too.
Donate if you can and definitely tell everyone you know
about Maggie's Centre because they, or someone they know, might need a place to go one day...
