Story

Born Pezounou Flourentzou on 25th November 1927, in the village of Ayios Elias in Cyprus. Pezounou was one of eight siblings, four brothers and four sisters.

In September 1961 she came to England after marrying Yiannis Sophocli.

In 1962 she had their first child Elizabeth and in 1964 had their twin boys Anthony and Sophoclis. She was a dedicated and hardworking housewife as well as a talented home machinist, making beautiful garments and accessories for the retail industry, herself and family.

Along with their three children and daughter-in-law Sophie, they were blessed with eight Grand daughters Margarita, Joanna, Ioanna, Stephanie, Elena, Elaina, Lydia and Monica, three Great Grandchildren Chloe, Charlie and Sophia with another on the way.

Pezounou was kind, caring, gentle and had a loving nature with the most beautiful smile and laugh. She will be remembered for her cooking and baking talents that will be missed and hard to match. A beautiful and special Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Friend with endless love and kindness for all.

Your beautiful smile will always be remembered and missed dearly.
