A few years ago I lost a friend Dionne to breast cancer. She was an influential person to me and someone I really admired. However I never got a chance to say goodbye. Sadly my father has now been diagnosed with Bone Marrow cancer which to date although can be treated, has no cure. 

Somehow I managed to get a ballot place for the London Marathon so I don't have to run or raise money for a charity, however I feel that if in anyway I can help the much needed research in to all the cancers then I have to. 

I don't have a target I have to make so I won't be hounding people for donations but if you have been touched by cancer and feel that you also want to do something then please do feel free to donate. 

Running is not a natural talent of mine so this will be a challenge!!
