Story

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page.

Eight years ago I decided that it was time to stop pursuing my own equestrian hobby  and let it be the turn of my two daughters Emma and Sophie to have the chance to enjoy ponies and Pony Club as I had been lucky enough to do as a child.  While thoroughly enjoying being unpaid groom and lorry driver I have to admit I still really want to have a go myself!

Hannah Francis who has been such an inspiration to so many of us, including my daughters, set up her charity after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of bone cancer.  15 months after diagnosis, she sadly passed away age 18.  So many families have been touched by this terrible disease in some form, including a young member of our pony club, whose wish it is for us to support this charity. Hannah's charity is raising money for research into bone cancer and 'Wilberry Wishes'.

So, when my girls told me to give Wobbleberry's  a go, I thought why not, I have their support and can fit it in around the 'unpaid grooms' job!  Thank you Emma for lending me the lovely Dinky!

Thank you for supporting me.  Do visit Wilberry Wonder Pony's page at
