The British Heart Foundation tend to have a reputation as an old persons charity, but over 4,000 babies are diagnosed with a heart condition in the UK every year. 

Prior to the establishment of the foundation, 4 in 5 babies born with a heart condition would not make it to their first birthday. Nowadays, those 4 in 5 will become adults, thanks to the work of the British Heart Foundation.
