Story
In early August the Middlesex Maniacs Team will be walking 6 km from Hurley Farm to The Flower Pot at Aston to raise funds for World Water Week which takes place later in that month.
We are a mixed group - from people in their 60s to the youngest member who is 6 - plus our two dogs aged 10 and 5.
World Water Week (23/29 August) aims to bring clean water to vulnerable children. Why 6K? This is the average distance people (usually girls) in the developing world, walk every single day to collect water - water that is often dirty. To take part, simply donate on this page. By raising money we can help vulnerable children and their communities have safe, clean water for life.
If you would like to set up a fundraiser in your community, please contact me for further details.
Thank you in advance for your kind generosity.
