London to Brighton Cycle 2018 · 16 September 2018 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

This old fish is going to have a good go at cycling to Brighton from London in order to raise money for the Stroke Association. They are a fantastic charity that support stroke survivors to rebuild their lives after strokes and regain independence. It is a personal charity to me as I had a transient ischemic attack (TIA) in December 2013 and my mother had a Stroke in July 2011 and thankfully we were provided with amazing information on how to connect with others managing their recovery.
