SimplyHealth Great North Run 2018 · 9 September 2018 ·

We’re your local air ambulance charity. We hope you never need us, but every year thousands of people do. And if you do, we’ll be there to fight for your life.

Story

The money you kindly donate will be going to Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance trust. I was a patient of the air ambulance after a traumatic brain injury, two epileptic seizures, breaking my arm in 13 places, and a brain bleed. I was air ambulanced to Kings hospital (critical care) in London where I would be in a coma for a month, a wheelchair for nearly two months and a NHS patient for 34 months.

I will be doing the great north run with my walking stick and my cousin who will be doing it with me to keep me going. The money raised will help the air ambulance to keep helping other people on their medical journey. Thanks for your interest and support.
