Story
Me and Chris are tackling 52 miles of road riding from Trafford Park, Manchester to the seafront illuminations on Blackpool. Starting at midnight we’ll ride through the cold, and no doubt wet, roads of Lancashire to raise money for British Heart Foundation.
Chris won’t mind me saying, neither of us are in great shape and we certainly don’t ride long distances or at night. So this ride is going to challenge us physically and mentally. Please give what you can.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
