Memory Walk 2018
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year over 110,000 people walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help to raise over £9 million to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

For the last six years I have been inspired by people who are living with dementia and their loved ones.

My own little Memory Walk in my hometown is my way of saying 'thank-you' to everyone who has helped make working for the Alzheimer's Society a labour of love.

I have teamed up with the Friends of Beaumont Park to stage a Memory Walk which will be a show of strength because people are uniting against dementia and a statement of intent because we need money to find a cure and improve care.

The plan is to meet at the Beaumont Park bandstand from 10am and then enjoy a gentle stroll from 11am. See you there.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
