Story
Last year I ran the Cumbrian Run to raise money for a brave young lady who had been given a terminal diagnosis, and was trying to leave as many memories of good times for her young children. Due to the generous nature of our wonderful public, I managed to raise over £600.
This year I want to raise money for Eden Valley Hospice Jigsaw appeal, and I want to raise enough to pay for a days care. So this year I am running:
URBAN TRAIL 10K - May
GELT GLADIATOR 10K - June
RACE FOR LIFE 10K - July
DALSTON FESTIVAL 15K - August
SPORT IN ACTION 10K - August
CARLISLE HALF 10K - September
GREAT NORTH RUN HALF MARATHON - September
GREAT CUMBRIAN RUN HALF MARATHON - October
Jigsaw provides day to day care, support and activities to children and young people living with a life limiting illness. Their care is provided in a home from home setting and each young person’s care is personalised towards their own needs.
Jigsaws ethos is to work in partnership with the children and young adults, their family, carers and other professional. They aim to maintain the children and young adult’s normal routine and make each stay as special and as enjoyable as possible.
The Royal Oak pub in Moorhouse have kindly agreed to sponsor me for these events, and will be holding events to help towards fundraising which I will keep you informed of via social media.
Please help us raise money for this wonderful and vital organisation by either donating to my page or simply attending an event.
Thank you for your time,
Rob
