Robert Alexander is raising money for YMCA England and Wales
Story
I have run a half Marathon and I am going to run The London Marathon on the 25th April 2010. The YMCA was brave enough to give me a golden ticket to run the Marathon for them. I signed up in November but to be honest I was still not sure if I was up for the challenge.
I resolved to begin training on the 1st of January and sure enough there I was plodding along the coast road on New Years Day 2010 unable to run for more than a few minutes with out breaking into a walk. Hugh Harvey was a witness. Last Saturday (20th March) I completed the Larne Half Marathon which was a great experience in itself as well as great training for London.
