Hello, I’m Tamasina the owner of the Rowan Tree Country Hotel, Aviemore with our hotel guest Bernadette Chua from Singapore who is regular visitor to the Scottish Highlands.

Together, we decided to launch a community fundraising campaign to purchase and maintain a publicly accessible defibrillator outside the hotel, providing a vital lifesaving resource for both guests and visitors to our beautiful area.

In the UK, more than 30,000 people suffer an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest each year, and fewer than 1 in 10 survive. Early CPR and defibrillation can significantly improve survival chances, making rapid access to a defibrillator critical.

Bernadette is the founder of The Dream Catalyst Club, who has generously gifted her time and is helping kick start the campaign with a talk.
