We fund life saving medical research to beat the world's biggest killers.

Story

On Sunday 2nd April 2023, I will - once again - be taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon, but this time raising money for the British Heart Foundation, in memory of my dad, Simon Burridge - and running with my sister Katie Burridge.

At the finish line of the same race last year, I was told over the phone that my dad had suffered a heart attack and cardiac arrest. He was airlifted from his home to the BRI hospital in Bristol, where they worked tirelessly on his heart. However, 9 days later he devastatingly passed away.

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people are still losing their lives. They need our support and funds to help fund scientific breakthroughs and continue their lifesaving research.

Your support this year is more important than ever, so thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can...truly every pound helps, and will make such a huge difference.

Felicity (& Katie) xx
