This October I will be taking one of of the scariest challenges ever by completing the WORLD’S fastest zip line (which is also the longest in Europe). This challenge will see me flying through the air at top speeds of over 100mph…….absolutely petrifying!!!!

I am doing this in memory of my Aunty Marian who was supported by the Marie Curie Nursing service. She was an amazing woman, who always wore her heart on her sleeve, and even during her darkest hours, she would bring a smile to people's faces.

As a Marie Curie Health Care Assistant I see the importance of supporting people at the time when they need it most. The Marie Curie Nursing Service was able to provide one to one care to Aunty Marian in the comfort of her own home. Marie Curie was our helping hand, a cup of tea, listening ears, kind and reassuring words, and our comfort.

I feel honoured to now be providing the same help and support to other patients and their families, and would like to raise money so that our service can continue to be there for patients and families.

All the money I raise will be used to support the local Marie Curie Services.
