Story

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page.

On the 22nd of August, I cycled as many laps as possible of Rutland Water, from dawn till dusk. I did this in memory of my Dad and to raise money for The Cynthia Spencer Hospice who supported him, at home, through his end of life care.

I did 15 laps, 213miles, 343km, 12hr12min moving time, 5am to 8pm .... i was joined by 9 other riders, spread out through various times of the ride.

Rutland Water is England's largest reservoir. The route using A and B roads is approximately 15 miles. I have been training since June, on the 2nd August I rode over 250km, I aim to go further on the day, weather permitting.

The 22nd August was my birthday. Please help me to make it a memorable one, any donations will be greatly appreciated.

The Cynthia Spencer Hospice provides a holistic and individualised approach in a safe and caring environment, to give exceptional specialist palliative care to patients and families with life limiting illnesses - supporting them to live their lives, with dignity, kindness and compassion.
