I'll be 'dragging' myself around the 13.1 mile Great North Run on Sunday September 10th in memory of my Nan, Jean Handy, who passed away last October. 

Jean was loved by all those who knew her, so losing her has been difficult for everyone. Family and friends were able to take comfort in the support we received from the Cynthia Spencer Hospice and Macmillan nurses.  They gave exceptional care to Jean, allowing her to pass away at home, without pain and with absolute dignity.
