Story

Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page.

We've joined together to raise money for charity. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal

So, if you know us you'll know we aren't exactly the fittest of people. working on the roads normally means exercise is minimal, diet is poor.

However, as a 17-strong group we have decided to take on the Yorkshire 3 peaks to try and raise money for Manorland’s Hospice. We shall undertake this challenge on the 26th May 2018.

Sadly late 2016 we lost a dear colleague after a short battle with Cancer. During this time both John ("Bingo" to everyone who knew or knew of him) and his family received invaluable care and support from Manorland’s.

Manorland's is heavily reliant on fundraising and good will donations. Every bit counts no matter how little it may seem if you can find a bit spare to donate they will be more than grateful and you will make a difference.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks are situated in the Yorkshire Dales and the challenge consists of climbing the summit of Pen-y-ghent (694m; 2,227 ft), Whernside (736 m; 2415 ft) and Ingleborough (723m; 2,372ft) in less than 12 hours.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks is accessible for everyone and a range of people complete the 12-hour challenge or just tackle one peak at time.

Please give as generously as you can. From all of us Thank you.
