Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Entering a marathon seemed like a good idea during lockdown, and now it's nearly upon me! On Sunday 10th October, I'll be running the Manchester Marathon, my first (and unless it goes really well, possibly my only!) race of 26.2 miles.
At the same time, I wanted to take the opportunity to raise some money for a good cause. St Kentigern Hospice provides care and support for patients with a life limiting illness across North East Wales, where I grew up. I know, from how some of those close to me were looked after at the hospice, about the great work they do to meet the individual needs of those they care for. This has become even more challenging for the hospice, given the impact of the last 18 months.
I'd be grateful for any donations you can spare to this good cause.
