Hello

My name is Sam Wilson. I try and dedicate some time to challenging myself and raising money for good cause and charities. I have previously raised money for this wonderful charity back in 2019. My family and I have strong links with this charity as a result and would like to see its future secured to continue the good work it does.

The pandemic has caused lots of its own challenges and hurdles. Some of you may know, I was due to run the 'live' marathon in 2020, which was cancelled and a series of virtual marathons introduced. Marathon training is tough and requires lots of time spent out on the road. 

Some of you may know I have also committed to running the live marathon in April 2022 in memory of my good friend Mark Whiteman, this will still continue. In the shorter term the October 2021 virtual marathon will serve as a tough milestone.

People who know that I run, know that it takes a lot of time up and dedication especially when running in the early hours with 2 small children to attend to at night!
